Testing & Assessments

At the Ladner Natural Health Clinic, we perform a variety of tests, depending on the situation. Tests range from the more traditional (blood, urine, stool, hair, saliva, etc.,) to the more esoteric (applied kinesiology, psychosomatic energetics, etc.). While tests cannot give all the answers we want, they do complement the information gathered through detailed history taking and physical examination.

Our comprehensive blood-screening test is very useful because results are compared to optimal standards rather than just the normal reference ranges. This comparison usually generates valuable information about your health or potential risk factors.

We can test for more than just the physiological aspects. Energy is flowing through our bodies and organs at all times. This is the basis of Chinese medicine and Acupuncture. It is possible to evaluate how well this energy is flowing and look for energy deficiencies in particular organs.

Assessment tools simply help the physician in the evaluation and treatment decision-making process. Once the therapy is applied, it is your body that actually does the healing. Our bodies have an amazing ability to heal when the right conditions are met.

Psychosomatic Energetics

Conflicts of a physical or emotional nature are a big part of the human psyche. These conflicts have an impact on both behavior and character patterns. The conflicts create energy blocks, which in turn prevent areas of the body from functioning efficiently. Psychosomatic Energetics (PSE) is an approach used to determine what conflicts exist. It works in tandem with the use of a testing device referred to as REBA. REBA determines where the energy blocks are occurring and the homeopathic remedy needed to resolve the blockage.

This methodology identifies the energy blocks and conflicts that are causing health problems. This information can then be applied to diffuse the underlying issues.
